From Zero to infinity…Yoga is an ancient Indian art which over time evolved as a science and presently has developed as a technology. Universal Peace Foundation has its philosophy based on Yoga. Yoga is a proven tool by which an individual can elevate his limited consciousness levels to unite with the unlimited cosmic consciousness. To reach this Universal Peace Foundation always iterates the importance of meditation and has devised a unique structure called “Mahashakthi Yogam” feasible to people of all walks of life. “Mahashakthi Yogam” means the path that leads to the connection or reunion with the ultimate universal energy.
It is a series of Yoga practices, designed by Gurumahan that caters to the physical, psychological, intellectual and spiritual harmony of every person. It has been designed with easy steps that even a person who is new to Yoga can get acquainted easily.
The practices include

- Relaxation and rejuvenation of every joint of the body
- Body energy enhancement
- Cleansing and powering body chakras (psychic centres)
- Initiation to meditation
- Techniques for deep relaxation
- Philosophy for healthy way of life
Thousands of people of various age groups right from 16-85, from various walks of life including businessmen, workers, professionals, police officials, prison inmates, doctors, professors, college and university students, housewives and patients with medical disorders like hypertension, diabetes, arthritis, cancer, HIV/AIDS etc. have participated in Mahashakthi Yogam course and got benefited. Feedback from participants reveals that they have found relief from their ailments and attained emotional stability, clarity of thoughts, improved decision power, higher degree of self-confidence and morale, positive perception of life and many more benefits after completing Mahashakthi Yogam.
This course is conducted both in the Gnanapeedam (on campus) and at other places when anyone organised a program (Off campus). The on-campus Mahashakthi Yogam is scheduled for 3 days as residential program, three sessions per day. The off-campus programs have flexible timings with 2 hours/day for 7 days. Mahashakthi Yogam is also conducted for those groups such as factories, hospitals, colleges, universities, community centres, associations, apartments etc. on their request.
Mahashakthi Yogam is a convenient yogic practice and an access for understanding the fundamental mechanism of the body, mind and spirit to live with health, happiness and harmony. So for wholesome health one can take up Mahashakthi Yogam course along with family members.
